As Winter Leaves Us, The Time for Breast Surgery is Near
By Lynn Fugaro
During the colder months of the year, many women do not have to worry about the proportion of their breasts to the rest of their body. Heavier clothing hides women's breasts, but this all changes when the weather starts to get warm. Many women wish their breasts were larger or more proportionate once they start going to the pool or beach and wearing more revealing clothing.
Now is the best time for a woman to have a breast enhancement. Bathing suit season is right around the corner, and having the procedure done now will ensure that you will look your best while lounging poolside.
Highly skilled plastic surgeons have helped many women feel better about wearing more revealing clothing by performing a breast augmenting surgery. Breast augmentation is not right for everyone, of course, but many women have improved their confidence in their bodies by having a breast enhancement.
Various Kinds of Breast Enhancement
There are many options when it comes to having breasts enhanced. There are different types of incisions and implants and different potential locations for implants. Your cosmetic surgeon will decide with each woman what kind of breast augmentation will work best for her.
No matter how the breast enhancement is done, now is the best time to have the surgery if you're thinking ahead to summer. Though advancements have been made to greatly improve the breast augmentation procedure, there is still a period of recovery from the surgery. Once enough recovery time has passed, the true results of the breast implants will be seen.
What to Expect During Recovery
Women can resume non-strenuous tasks as soon as a day or two after their breast enhancement is complete. It usually takes somewhere between three to five weeks for most women to recover enough to return to a more active routine, though.
After the surgery, some mild to moderate pain is common. You will be prescribed pain medication to alleviate the pain, which should disappear after a week or two. Bruising and swelling is also to be expected, but these after-effects should also disappear with time.
Though there are scars that remain after the breast enhancement surgery, your surgeon chooses the site of any incisions carefully so that these scars are so minimal that they are only noticeable upon very close examination.
All of these conditions are normal after a breast augmentation, meaning that it will take a few weeks before you can really show off the great results of your surgery. If you want to relax in your bathing suit on the beach, consider having your breast enhancement procedure done now. You'll have plenty of time to recover, and you'll look forward to spending your summer feeling confident and secure in your body.
